Bulletin Following directions
Here are some things you must do or lose points: 1. Include a title page using the format I gave and place the five items in the center of the page, 2. Single-space the paragraphs, and double between them, 3. Work in groups, of no more than (3) three persons, 4. Type the papers in Microsoft Word and nothing else, 5. If you need confirmation of sent work, incude your address in the 'TO: line' so you get a copy of what you send me, 6. Review the document for mistakes, blank pages, etc., before actually sending it 7. Register for the forum and reply to the 'Rollcall' Post. ** I have just received all the project ones and they will soon be graded. To view grades, visit the class link on Docushare for the latest. ** If you are registered in this class and have not replied to the 'Rollcall' post, you need to do so. If you have done so already, tell all your classmates this is a requirement. Those who have not will not receive any grades until they do so. So far only 14/33 people have been present in class - Guinn, Woods, Reddy, Thompson, Holmes, Curry, Kozulev, Bond, Dunn, Hill, Green, Bailey, Presley, and Felton. Where are the rest of you? Bulletin Back on-line
Greetings everyone, I pray all of you are well and that you suffered no losses in the hurricane. If however you did, may God bless you and yours. We are back online and ready to roll. Project 1 is due by tomorrow at midnight (no more exceptions). Project 2 is due by Tuesday at midnight. Project 3 is due next Sunday on schedule. You should already be through with them both as you had some free time last week and this. I suggest you all print out ALL the assignments as they become available so that the "I do not have the assignment page" excuse does not have to be utilized. I will not accept it. Plan ahead. Bulletin Class Structure
We will meet the first week of school. We will not, however, meet in person every M/W. Instead we will utilize the forum to have class. The course is project-based, which means students will print out the projects from DocuShare, complete the assignment, and email the results to me at adixon@lorman.alcorn.edu. If you have a question about something, the process is to post it in the forum. Be sure to name the issue you bring forth (ex. "Question about Project 1") so others will know what the listing includes. Pay close attention to the 'Author' section along with the 'Last Post' section to ascertain who wrote what and who was last to respond and when. You can post a question whenever you have one, and do not have to wait until the scheduled class time. I will be checking the forum often and will receive a notice whenever you do add something. I need you to do a couple of things. a. Read the first bulletin and follow those directions. b. Go on DocuShare, click on the link for this class, open the Syllabus and Calendar and read through them. c. Before you post a question for me, DO read the postings already on the forum as they probably have the answers you are looking for. e. Bulletin How to navigate this course
To join in, log on to www.bschool.alcorn.edu and from the drop-down box on the top-right, select discussion forum. Once in this area, each student must register for access to the forum. Please type your username in this fashion -- with last name first, followed by first name initial: EX. dixona. This will help me identify who is in the forum. Thank you.
